Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club paid a courtesy visit to the ailing former Nigeria goalkeeper Peter Fregene in his hometown Sapele, Delta state. Fregene is battling with partial stroke and need government support to keep up with medical expenses. The remains of late Mrs. Sarah Moses Ekpokhai the mother of Ahmed Musa, the Assistant captain of Nigeria Super Eagles was put to rest today 25th of May  2019 in her hometown Afuze, Edo state. The 21 players, coaching crew and backroom staff who participated in the two weeks competition flew into Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja on Monday afternoon from Dar es Salaam aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
