Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club honour Ahmed Musa's mother Final Rites.

The remains of late Mrs. Sarah Moses Ekpokhai the mother of Ahmed Musa, the Assistant captain of Nigeria Super Eagles was put to rest today 25th of May 2019 in her hometown Afuze, Edo state. Aged 66years.

The burial ceremony which had in attendance crèam de la crèam in the society was attended by members of Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club across the Nation.

Led by their ever efficient Chairperson OluwaKemi Ogunfuwa Popoola the Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club was on ground during the wake-keep and the interment of the mother of Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia striker.


In its quest to show solidarity support and pay last respect to the Super Eagles' prolific striker the vibrant Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club rally all it chapter's members across the country to honour the event. Members from different geopolitical zone were ably present.



The Burial equally had in attendance the President of Nigeria Football Federation and 1st Vice President Confederation of Africa Football; Amaju Pinnick, NFF Exco Member; Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, Edo State FA Chairman; Frank Ilaboya, Ahmed Musa's close friend and fellow Super Eagles player Abdullah Sheu and other prominent dignitaries across the works of life throng in to pay their last respect to the deceased who they all referred to as a 'Joyful giver'.

Speaking to journalist after the interment of Late Mrs. Sarah, Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club chairperson thanks all members who traveled far and wide to attend the occasion.

"I wish to use this opportunity to thank all members of Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club that travel far and wide to honour this occasion".

"Indeed Ahmed Musa has dedicated his professional career to the service of this great Nation, Nigeria. During the thick and thin he's always been there for his country and we the member of Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club see it has a mark of honour for  the M.O.N and respect for his late mother to felicitate with them during this period".
"It is quite obvious that Mama lived a fulfilled life and had a positive impact in the community has we've witnessed since yesterday that we arrived here. People are coming en masse to pay their last respect and it shows she's loved and cherished in her community".

"We pray for the bereaved family, may the Lord give them the fortitude to bear the loss and uphold their family. I also wish our members journey mercies back to their various destinations", Concluded OluwaKemi Ogunfuwa.
