Bede Opara has told CMSPORTS that his injury pains is over and feels great to be back with his team Vilar de Perdizes.
The skillful and enigmatic central defender was called up to the U23 team camp by coach Imama Amapakabo for the double header game against Libya in April but unable to feature has injury ruled him out for selection.
In an exclusive interview with www.cmsportz.blogspot.com after Vilar de Perdizes' secured 1-1 league match on Tuesday away to GD Valpaços in Portugal lower Division league Opara express his delight and happiness to have shrugged off the injury scare and ready for selections once again.
"I am happy and feeling great right now. The injury which has made me missed few matches for my club was a temporary setback but I thank God I am fit again".
The versatile defender who has played 23 matches for his club this season is hopeful to finish the season on a brighter note.
"So far, I have played 23 matches for my club this season as a central defender, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assist".
"My greatest joy would be finishing the season without receiving a red card as a defender".
When asked about his future with Vilar de Perdizes Bede Opara said
"The future is very bright but I would prefer to focus on finishing the season with wonderful performance. There has been offers for me from different clubs but I would rather leave that to my manager and the club to sort out such aspect.
