Bede Opara shines in Vilar de Perdizes Victory

Bede Opara stars in Vilar de Perdizes 8-1 victory.


It was a goal feast for Vilar de Perdizes as they ran riot and pummeled GDC Salto 8-1 over the weekend in the Portuguese Pro-National league match.
The match ended 1-1 in the 1st half but Vilar de Perdizes proves too strong for the visiting GDC Salto in the 2nd half as they scored 7 unreplied goals.

Opara who was on the pitch for the entire duration of the match as his club inch closer to finishing the season on a scintillating version was happy to be back and doing what he knows how to do best.

Speaking exclusive to www.cmsportz.blogspot.com after the game on Sunday, the Nigeria U23 player stated
"My teammates and coach were happy with my performance in the match. Playing 90mins in my first match since the International break and after the minor injury lay off gives me more confidence as the league reach the home stretch".

''My focus is to feature in the remaining 3 round of matches and finish the season on a high note".

The former starlet of Brighter Tomorrow Football club relish his experience in the Portuguese league so far and admit is the best league for young players to develop their game.

"It is a strong league that requires 100% fitness level to compete in every time. The facility and training method helps young players to develop their skill and build their confidence. Moving to Portugal has really improved my game tremendously".

Bede Opara has played 24 matches for my club this season this season, scoring 3 goals with 2 assist to his credit.
