Kenya had approached the Continent's Appeal Board to disqualify Equatorial Guinea alleging that Annette Jacky Messomo was not eligible to feature for Equatorial Guinea in a game against Kenya which sealed the qualification of Equatorial Guinea after the victory against Harambee  Starlets.
