Kaduna Beach Soccer Club began their campaign in the maiden edition of Nigeria Beach Soccer League with a victory over Smart City Beach Soccer Club on Saturday. The victory put the Kada boys at loggerhead with Igbogbo Beach Soccer Club at the top of group B log with 3 points apiece.

The Kaduna Beach Soccer Club Captain has reiterate the need for his team to maintain the momentum and finish the first round of the league matches with maximum points available.

"It was great to start our league campaign with a victory. From the start of the game against Smart City we know we are up against a tough opponent but we were determined not to lose focus and we gave them a man-for-man approach.

"This is one competition I have been looking forward to and I am happy to start the league with 2 goals. I give thanks to the entire squads, and with the unity and synergy in our camp I confident we can progress in the tournament.

"I always tell my teammates that 1 point is not a good point in Beach Soccer tournaments, we should always inspire to go for maximum and thank God we are able to achieve that.

"We need the prayers from our fans just like we have been getting the necessary support of the management, with these , I believe we will conquer"

Kaduna Beach Soccer Club will play against HCF Edo BSC today at Elegushi beach.
