The 2020/2021 Nigeria Women Football League Premiership Play-off has been scheduled by the Secretariat of the NWFL, to hold in Benin City, Edo state from May 7 to 11, 2021. The venue according to the NWFL Chief Operating Officer, Modupe Shabi, has been fixed for the main bowl of the University of Benin Sports Complex, Ugbowo, Edo state. The last four teams that will participate in the play-off to determine the two teams to be relegated include; Former champions Pelican Stars of Calabar that ended the first round with 12 points, Abia Angels that finished with 11 points, Ibom Angels of Uyo with 10 points and Dream Stars of Lagos with 6 points. The NWFL C.O.O stated that only two teams will be relegated from the 2020/2021 NWFL Premiership season at the end of the play off. Defending champions, Katsina United bounced back to winning ways after successfully overcoming Kano Pillars 2-1 in the NPFL/La Liga U15 Promises on Tuesday. Umar Abubakar and Khalifa Aminu handed Katsina United a two-goal lead at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. Ahmad Hassan set up a tensed home stretch when he reduced the deficit for Pillars. The champion for the 2020/2021 NWFL Premiership season and the country's representative to the WAFU B qualifiers for the CAF Women's Champions League will emerge today at the Dipo Dina International Stadium Ijebu-Ode between Rivers Angels, Delta Queens, FC Robo and Sunshine Queens as the Super Six comes to an end after seven days of highly competitive games. NPFL/La Liga U15 Promises: Wolves, Heartland earn tickets to last eight Heartland sealed their passage to the round eight thanks to Chikwere Chigaemezu's 12th minute winner against defending champions Katsina United. Earlier in the day, Adamawa United stunned Rivers United 5-2. Ahmed Umaru and Mubarak Ibrahim bagged a brace each for Adamawa. Gaddafi Magaji was also on target. Egbe Kelvin's double wasn't enough for Rivers United in the seven-goal thriller. The victory leaves Adamawa United with three points from two games and they face Kastina United in the final group match. The match between Warri Wolves and MFM FC was billed an epic contest. It ended 1-0 in favour of Wolves, and the Young Seasiders can now celebrate a quarterfinal ticket.

Godswill Ndaeyo scored the winner as Akwa United sealed their place in the quarterfinals of the 2021 NPFL/La Liga U15 Promises with a 1-0 victory over Jigawa Golden Stars at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Monday afternoon. The city of Enugu continued to be on the spotlight as the third day of the 2021 NPFL/La Liga U15 Promises took place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. It was Kwara United who faced Abia Warriors in an entertaining opening match of the day. For the Young Harmony Boys, they wanted to pick a positive result and they got it thanks to Olatunbosun Lateef.  With the 1-0 result, United have four points from two games, while Warriors have no joy after two games. Lagos witnessed some great piece of football when youngsters trooped to the Legacy Pitch for the 36 Lion U12 Continuous Assessment Day on Friday. The U12 kids were accompanied to the arena by their parents. Coaches took the young lads through some simple drills. The kids were enlightened on some basic techniques in football. At the end of a successful exercise, participants were rewarded with books and boots. Lots of goals were scored by the children who relished the moment to showcase their talents. "It’s all about playing and enjoying for them; then stay in school and help their parents with your household chores," 36 Lion Proprietor told the Media shortly after the exercise.

 NPFL/La Liga U15 Promises: Pillars, Heartland & Katsina United Cruise On Day 2Kano Pillars thrashed Lobi Stars FC 3-0 in the day 2 of the 2021 NPFL/La Liga U15 Promises on Friday. A solitary strike from the impressive Samuel Effiong helped Akwa United claim a 1-0 win in their 2021 NPFL/La Liga U15 Promises opener against Abia Warriors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Thursday.Abia Warriors had the better of the play, but could not turn their dominance into three points. The maiden edition of the North East Elite Basketball Camp 2021 will dunks off from 9th through 11th April, 2021 at the Indoor Sports Hall of Gombe in Gombe State. The camp which is sponsored by two non-governmental organizations, Adamu Yola Foundation and Jordan Nwora Foundation will see 60 boys and 40 girls from the North East region sweating it out on the court for the next three days.
