DANIEL AMOKACHI JOINS #PASSFORHOME CHALLENGE FOR SEOUL 2024 HOMELESS WORLD CUP

  Daniel Amokachi  Nigeria football icon Daniel Amokachi has joined the #passforhome challenge ahead of 19th edition of the Homeless World Cup in Seoul, South Korea. The  1996 Atlanta Olympic Games gold medalist and former FA Cup winner with Everton of England will receive the ball from Italy and pass it over to England as he joins the like of Tottenham Hotspur and Korea superstar striker Heung-Min Son to pass the ball around the competing nations until it reaches the Korean capital a day before the competition is due to start. The 2024 Seoul Homeless World Cup will take place from 21st - 28th September at Hanyang University.  The #passforhome ball is on a mission to unite the world, starting in Edinburgh and making its way to Seoul for the 2024 Homeless World Cup. FIFA PARTNERS HOMELESS WORLD CUP FOUNDATION

The world football governing body FIFA have signed a partnership agreement with the Homeless World Cup Foundation (HWCF), a global networking foundation that brings together nearly 70 grassroot organisations that are using football to tackle homelessness and social isolation around the world.  This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the Homeless World Cup Foundation in its mission to challenge existing social perceptions and Improve people's lives globally.  The partnership agreement was announced by FIFA president Gianni Infatino who noted that FIFA shares the view of the HWCF. The deal sees Vha.Po Sport become the official Kit supplier of the team with 54footballx and Boom Radio providing media coverage. Sports Stakeholders in Bauchi State have hailed Former Super Eagles player, Patrick Pascal over the renovation of the State Football Association House. In separate interviews with former Director of Sports (Bauchi State), Haruna Bako and Tenimu Saidu applauded the Chairman of Bauchi State Football Association, Patrick Pascal for his contribution to the growth of football in the state. Bauchi state is a role model to North East States- Yusuf

Bauchi State Director of Sports, Usman Yusuf revealed that the state will continue to be a role model for other North East states in the region. Yusuf stated this during the opening ceremony of the 2nd Bauchi State Sports Festival 2024 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS) in Bauchi on Thursday. The Former Chairman of Nigeria Wrestling Referees Association commended the State Government for creating an enabling environment to thrive.
