Nigeria Rugby Federation Signs Multi -Year Partnership with Flovale Consulting

Ahead of the kickoff of the Africa Rugby Sevens tournament in Mauritius, the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) has taken a significant step in repositioning rugby in the country by signing a three-year partnership deal with Flovale Consulting. The partnership will enable Flovale Consulting to create a dedicated channel and focus efforts on making rugby one of the most popular sports in Nigeria, while also promoting the development of both body and mind. G12 FC denies misleading report by LSFA

The Management of G12 Football Club has debunked and categorised as misleading the claims that the chairman of the club Mr. Hakeem Mustapha (a.k.a Gattuso) was suspended by Lagos Football Association (LSFA) for one year in a matter related to the ongoing Nigeria Ex-Internationals Cup.  Tagged as clandestine move to tarnished the image of the club the club secretary Joel Edeaghe stated that “neither G12 FC nor the club chairman participated in the competition” In a letter addressed to LSFA Secretariat and copied to other relevant agencies the club emphasized that the purported  statement issued by LSFA has caused reputational damage and distress to the club chairman Hakeem Mustapha (a.k.a Gattuso) and in extension to the image  of G12 FC brand. Lagos State NURTW congratulates Alhaji Baruwa on Industrial court victory

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Lagos state council has congratulated the President of the union, Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa, on the affirmation of judgment of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria (NICN) .  This followed a judgement delivered by Justice O.O Oyewumi of the NICN siting in Abuja  on March 11, 2024, in a suit NO NICN/Abj/263/2023 Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa and 13 others vs Alh.Najeem Usman Yasin and 6 others proclaiming Baruwa as the legitimately elected President of the union for a second term. Jagaban Cup: Defending champions Smart City, The Charlesann Thrill On Opening Day

The Charlesann displayed impressive performance to draw 2-2 with defending champions Smart City in the opening match of 2024 Jagaban Cup at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Tuesday morning. The enterprising Lemon Busayo opened the scoring for Smart City after slamming the ball home from the penalty spot on 8 minutes.  With The Charlesann slowly settling into the game, they managed to push the Nigeria National League team into their shell on several occasions before finally breaching the defense of the Smart City to draw level through Ayinla Olayinka as first half ended 1-1. Stakeholders Commend Organisers Of Jagaban Cup

It is few weeks to the kick-off of the second edition of the annual Jagaban Football Cup, organized by 36 Lion Investment Limited, and football stakeholders and enthusiasts of the game, have been salivating on the expected thrills and feels during the tournament.  Speaking on the tournament, Coach Dominic Etim of Akwa Ibom based Stars Football Academy, said he is eagerly looking forward to the tournament, which would feature eight of the best grassroots football teams in Lagos State.  "I witnessed the first edition and it was pure excitement for all football enthusiasts.
