Africa Congress on Christianity and Sports holds International Conference in Feb. 2022

The Africa Congress on Christianity and Sports, Lagos State University chapter, will hold an international conference scheduled for February 1st to 5th, 2022 at the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.

The theme of the conference is titled "THE ROLE OF CHRISTIANITY AND SPORTS IN THE PROMOTION OF PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT", and it will be a hybrid of online and physical participation.

The conference will feature paper presentations on sub-themes such as Managing the health of the clergy (Men and women) - Christianity and Sports: Sociological perspective, - Sports and Morality: Lottery, Betting, Match-fixing amongst others.

The Key Note Speakers includes Dr Andrew Meyer President, Christian Society for Kinesiology Leisure and Sports Studies, Dept of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Baylor University, Waco Texas.

Rt Rev. Prof Dapo F. Asaju Professor of Theology, Lagos State University.

Former Vice-chancellor, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo & Bishop Theologian (Anglican Church of Nigeria), and Rt Rev. Prof Dapo F. Asaju, Professor of Theology, Lagos State University Former Vice-chancellor, will be delivering papers.

The conference fee for Local Participants is put at Students ₦10,000

Others ₦15,000 and Foreign Participants: $100.
