Ogunjobi Gold Cup: 3SC Subdue Resilient FC Ebedei

Shooting Stars got their Ogunjobi Gold Cup campaign off in a flying start after they came from behind to beat FC Ebedei 3-1 on Matchday One of the pre-season tournament.




It was a game of two halves as the Oluyole Warriors scored three second half goals after the Oliseh Boys had got fans talking inside the FC Ebedie Stadium, taking the lead in the 20th minute courtesy of a brilliant strike from  Moses Obule.



The newly promoted Nigerian Professional Football League(NPFL) side then took the game to the rookies but were twice denied a goal by goalkeeper Mark Ugboh.



At the restart of second half, Shooting Stars then showed experience as they dominated from the 56th minute they scored the equalizing goal by Kola Daniel, who tapped into the net from an assist from Ayo Adejubu.



As the game near 90 minutes and looking like a draw, the Oluyole Warriors then scored two quick goals in added time.



 Akilu Muhammad made it 2-1 the 92nd minute while Ayo Adejubu who provided the assist for 3SC first then capped up his fine performance as he put the icing on the cake for his team's third goal.
