Kwara Utd's Abdulsalam recovers 1 year after suffering fracture against Wikki

Kwara United winger Abdulsalam Abdulsalam has fully recovered and has returned to training one year after sustaining leg fracture at the Kwara state stadium, Ilorin. Abdulsalam Abdulsalam There was tension on March 15, 2020 during Kwara United's home game against Wikki Tourists when Abdulsalam Abdulsalam sustained a terrible injury just two minutes after the start of the encounter. Fans, management, coaching crew, players and journalists were all shocked to see the level of the injury sustained by Abdulsalam who was immediately taken to the General Hospital with Ambulance from the stadium. Aisha Buhari Invitational Tournament: Pinnick inaugurates Committee on Monday 28th June, 2021

The Quest to host a successful Aisha Buhari Invitational Tournament in Lagos  began with the Inauguration of the committee by NFF President/FIFA Council member; Amaju Pinnick. The virtual meeting started at exactly 11am with all Local Organising Members were in attendance to show readiness to stage a tournament of repute. Beach Volleyball: Nigeria battle Kenya for Olympic ticket

Nigeria will face Kenya in the final of the women's category at the ongoing Tokyo Beach Volleyball Olympics Qualifiers in Morocco on Sunday. Nigeria made it through after Egypt was disqualified after some of the delegates tested positive of covid 19. The Head Coach of Nigeria Beach Volleyball team, Francis Imoudu told newsmen that Egypt women's team were stopped from participating in the Semifinals in order to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19. He revealed that the next mission of the girls is to pick the sole ticket in the Women's category. Imoudu said, "We had a target before leaving Nigeria to be in the final and pick the ticket. Okagbare's second fastest woman in history

Blessing Okagbare says she is ready to roll in Tokyo at the Olympics. And Nigerians believe her on the strength of her historic race at the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Olympic Trials at the Sports Complex of Yaba College of Technology in Lagos.              The 32 year old scorched to a 10.63 seconds finish to tie Jamaican, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce time as 2021 world lead.  Okagbare says the race has given her renewed confidence of a memorable performance at the delayed 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.   Four years ago she didn't make it to the final of the 100m. The Head Coach of Nigeria Beach Volleyball Teams, Francis Imoudu has named the final 8 squad that will be representing the country at this month’s Tokyo Olympics Qualifiers in Morocco. The squad was named on Friday before the team set off to the Qualifiers in Morocco which kicks off on 20th June, 2021. Imoudu said  Francisca Ikhiede, Tochukwu Nnoruga, Amarachi Uchechukwu and Albertina Francis will represent the country in the women's category while Obayemi Ogunshina, Hilary Simon, Emmanuel Chidebere and Emenike Ezike are in the men's category.
