Excellent Kaduna BSC disarmed Igbogbo Kingdom BSC

Kaduna Beach Soccer Club maintained their 100% record in the ongoing Nigeria Beach Soccer League, defeating Igbogbo Kingdom BSC 4-2 in a pulsating match to Roundup the first round of the league on excellent note.



The Kada boys was able to overcome an early minutes goal deficit to level 1-1 in the 7mins of the 1st period, thanks to Tanko Emmanuel whose powerful shot rocketcheted the Igbogbo goalposts to the back of the net and drew his team level.

The 2nd period had Chidozie Frank missed a penalty kick before Tanko Emmanuel grabbed his brace of the game whilst extending his team's lead to 3-1. The Igbogbo Kingdom Beach Soccer Club who had one win in their opening two matches were desperate for a positive result and pulled one back with a powerful freekick which bounced off the sand as goalkeeper Olalekan Oladipo could only watch akimbo.



The intensity of the game changed as both team surge for the vital goal; either to level or double their lead. 


Againstst the run of play Clement Egonosi was impeded in the penalty area and was awarded a spot kick which he powerfully toke passed the opposing goalkeeper as the match ended 4-2 to the delight of the team's chairman Engr. Musa Nimrodi who traveled from Kaduna to cheer his team in Lagos.


Kaduna Beach Soccer Club remained unbeaten at the end of the first round of the maiden edition of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League. The second stanza of the league will commence in May in Kebbi state.
