Kwara United's Fatokun bags award, named best NPFL player for the month of January

Kwara United midfielder Jide Fatokun was on Sunday afternoon, February 14, named as the best NPFL player for the month of January following his impressive performances for the Harmony Boys.

The award was presented to him inside the Kwara state stadium by Kwara United Fans Club who applauded the former Sunshine Stars for his great form. 

So far this season in the NPFL, Jide Fatokun has been in incredible form for Kwara United as him and his teammates have now played 8 games without a defeat.

Fatokun's combination with Afeez Nosiru in the midfield for Kwara United this campaign has been wonderful as these stars have been the commanders.

While thanking the Kwara United Fans Club for the award given to him, Jide Fatokun promised to continue to work hard for the success of his team this season in the NPFL.

"I am glad and I want to appreciate these wonderful people for this award and also promising them that I will continue to do my best for Kwara United," Fatokun explained to Kwara United Media.

Meanwhile, Fatokun produced stunning performance once again for Kwara United in their perfect 3-0 win over visiting Dakkada which sent Biffo and his wards to the top of the NPFL table.

Kwara United will be traveling to Enugu this coming Thursday where they will face Enugu Rangers in NPFL week 11 encounter.
