Elite athletes storm Kaduna for Marathon

Over 23 elite runners from African countries have arrived Kaduna for this weekend Kaduna marathon.

The athletes, male and female, who are from Kenya, Ethiopia Cameroon and other Sub Saharan Africa countries are all excited to be in kaduna.

The Chairman of the technical committee Yusuf Alli confirmed that over 80 Nigeria top runners too have also arrived the centre of learning for the race scheduled for this Saturday.

The race is divided into three categories 21 kilometres, 10 kilometres and 5kilometres male and female version.

Meanwhile the world Press briefing to herald the event comes up on Friday at 10am.

The Kaduna marathon is fully sponsored by the Kaduna State government to showcase the rich tourism potential of the state and improve fitness of its citizens.
