Ex Super Eagles International Thumbs Up Leke James For Super Eagles Call Up

Former Nigeria international, Chikelue Iloenyosi has thumbed up the exploit of Leke James in the Norwegian league and called for his invitation to feature for Nigeria ahead of the prestigious international friendlies against Cote d’Ivoire and former champions Tunisia in Austria.

The Ex international said the recent form shown by the Leke James will help instill healthy competition among the players and boost the confidence level of the team.

“Leke is a good player, he is strong and he will give confidence to the Super Eagles." He said.

Chikelue Iloenyosi also stated that the exploit of Leke in the Norwegian league should not go unnoticed, stating that the player has done well to earn a call up to the national team..

"He is very consistent and scores week in week out, he was the reason his team won the league last season and has started brilliantly this year with goals.

"His speed is good for the Super Eagles.” Iloenyosi stated.

Leke James has attracted offers from the oil-rich Middle East and the USA courtesy of his 15 goals in the league in Norway last season.
