Alampasu, Iheanacho returns as Eagles battle ready for friendlies

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has released the list of invited players for the double-header frinedly matches slated for October in Austria.

Nigeria will square up against Tunisia on the 9th of October before take on Elephant of Cote d'Ivoire four days later at the same venue in Austria.

Egypt 2025: Flying Eagles seek bronze compensation against Young Pharaohs

Seven-time champions Nigeria and hosts and four-time champions Egypt will both fight hard for the bronze medals when they clash in the third-place match of the ongoing Africa U20 Cup of Nations finals in Cairo on Sunday. Both teams were rated by pundits to emerge from their semi-final clashes, but the result went the other way and they are now due to play the losers’ final at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium in downtown Cairo. Bede Opara stars in Vilar de Perdizes 8-1 victory. It was a goal feast for Vilar de Perdizes as they ran riot and pummeled GDC Salto 8-1 over the weekend in the Portuguese Pro-National league match.
