3 things I expect of Arsenal against Liverpool tonight.

As Mike Tyson says, everyone has a plan until that get smacked in the mouth. Liverpool, tonight, is Mike Tyson. They are a team of brutal warriors. Arsenal have had two really decent games against Liverpool in recent past though. Last season, Gunners turned the Kop over in the league (despite been totally mauled by them) and reel on the confidence to win the FA Cup. Liverpool will be fitter, sharper, as they have buried a couple of teams in their opening two EPL fixtures of the season.

My expectations from Arsenal in this game:
1. To be competitive (at least).

That means everyone showing up to execute a good game plan. Coaches are now wary of Arteta's tactics after coming out victorious against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in intermittent matches. Arsenal now looks unpredictable and opposition teams are very much aware of this which put Gunners' players at par with their counterpart. The players should exploit this to their advantage and exhibit a well game plan devoid of jittery and complacent displayed against top 4 teams in the previous seasons.

2. Willian to anchor the midfield.

Overtime Liverpool outrun, overturn and battered Arsenal in the midfield battles. There is no gain saying whichever team that dominate midfield has a brighter chances of victory In a match. Arsenal need discipline players to curtail and 'impede' movement of Liverpool midfielders irrespective of Kloop's choice of midfielders for the game. Apparently Arsenal will need more bodies in the midfield to have any chance of battling Liverpool and I believe with Willian in the midfield having Xhaka and Ceballos/Maitland Niles behind him, it would give the Gunners chance to supply Aubameyang the needed distribution for his trademark execution.

3. David Luiz must come to the party.

On his day, Luiz is a leader. But the mystery is David Luiz has cost Arsenal more pains than solace particularly in big games. DL must put his bad days behind him and prove a Brazilian he's. In a game of potential high tempo and magnitude you need experience defensive backline to steady the ship and without doubt Luiz should be the X-factor which will be complemented by Salliba and Chamber.

Egypt 2025: Flying Eagles seek bronze compensation against Young Pharaohs

Seven-time champions Nigeria and hosts and four-time champions Egypt will both fight hard for the bronze medals when they clash in the third-place match of the ongoing Africa U20 Cup of Nations finals in Cairo on Sunday. Both teams were rated by pundits to emerge from their semi-final clashes, but the result went the other way and they are now due to play the losers’ final at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium in downtown Cairo. Morocco and South Africa will tango in a repeat of the 1997 Final, which the Atlas Cubs won 1-0 in Meknes. It is the fifth time that Nigeria, who won the title in 1983, 1985, 1987, 1989, 2005, 2011 and 2015 will be playing for the bronze medals. For Egypt, it will be the fourth time. Both have won the bronze medals three times previously. Also, both Nigeria and Egypt contested the 2005 Final in Cotonou, with the Flying Eagles coming out top following a 2-0 win. Isaac Promise (of blessed memory) scored both goals. As hosts in 1995, after losing their semi final tie...

Bede Opara shines in Vilar de Perdizes Victory

Bede Opara stars in Vilar de Perdizes 8-1 victory. It was a goal feast for Vilar de Perdizes as they ran riot and pummeled GDC Salto 8-1 over the weekend in the Portuguese Pro-National league match. The match ended 1-1 in the 1st half but Vilar de Perdizes proves too strong for the visiting GDC Salto in the 2nd half as they scored 7 unreplied goals. Opara who was on the pitch for the entire duration of the match as his club inch closer to finishing the season on a scintillating version was happy to be back and doing what he knows how to do best. Speaking exclusive to www.cmsportz.blogspot.com after the game on Sunday, the Nigeria U23 player stated "My teammates and coach were happy with my performance in the match. Playing 90mins in my first match since the International break and after the minor injury lay off gives me more confidence as the league reach the home stretch". ''My focus is to feature in the remaining 3 round of matches and finish the season...
