Covid-19: Fanendo Adi aides Media with Palliatives

Fanendo Adi has support Nigerian Media practitioners with the sum of Two hundred thousand naira to help cushion Covid-19 effect.

The show of love came via formost WhatsApp group NSM rebranded and the announcement was made public by Adewale Ajayi.

The Columbus Crew striker, Fanendo Adi, who recently donate bags of rice in the tune of Ten Million naira (N10,000,000) in his hometown Benue state urged journalists to continue with their excellent job and admonished them for putting their lives on the warfront while discharging their duties during this pandemic period.

Fanendo Adi said:

"This token is a show of appreciation to the Nigerian media practitioners for doing great job during this pandemic and in extension for promoting football and projecting Niherian players in a positive light.

I don't see myself above any other person but as long as God bless me I shall keep supporting humanity, my joy is to see everyone around have access to basic needs."

Reacting to this lofty gesture, Adewale Ajayi applaud Adi for his benevolence act particularly in a period when majority are facing one challenges or the other.

"On behalf of NSM I want to appreciate Fenando Adi for this rare gesture. It only takes a kind-hearted person to appreciate and understand the need to support journalists during this pandemic period.

NSM is conscious about the welfare of its members and we are extremely happy and grateful to Adi for identifying with us as we wish him the very best in his career.


This platform have raised over Two million naira during this Covid19 lockdown for members and our transparency and track record is there for all to see in the disbursement of the palliatives received."
