Kwara United Chairman Kunbi Titiloye Spreads love at Easter

Kwara united football club of Ilorin has continued to identify with football fans and the media especially at a time like this, when the deadly Corona virus is creating panic among Nigerians.

In his Easter message to Nigerians, Chairman of Kwara United, Kunbi Titiloye appealed to everyone to use this moment as a time for sober reflection on the current health crisis caused by the corona virus pandemic. He called on Christains and Muslims to pray and call for God's intervention for the sake of mankind.
   
The former chairman of the Abuja football College is currently on a mission to rebrand and repackage Kwara United and he says he is not relenting, admitting that with just thirteen matches left to go in the ongoing NPFL season, the task of survival looks difficult but he has assured that 19th placed Kwara United will surely avoid the drop to the NNL at the end of the current season

 He says even though the global pandemic has seriously affected sporting activities accross the world he still believes that the league management company LMC, will take the best decision in the interest of our football

   He appealed to all Nigerians to respect the directives from health authorities in order to help curtail the spread of the Corona virus and promised that on his part as chairman of Kwara united, he will help spread the message of safety across to players and fans of the Afonja Warriors
   
As a form of palliative to support sports journalists during this lockdown, the chairman made a personal donation to Nigerian journalists to help them buy hand gloves, face masks and hand sanitizers. He enjoined all media practitioners to stay safe in the line of duty.
