NOC Inaugurates Four Commissions

Four Commissions were Wednesday inaugurated by the President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Engr Habu Gumel at the media centre situated inside the National Stadium Complex, Lagos  as we count days to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. The four inaugurated commissions, Technical & Development, Marketing and Sponsorship, Athletes and Olympic Education & Culture increased to six numbers of already inaugurated commissions. Speaking during the inauguration, Engr Gumel described the event as another landmark event in the annals of the Olympic Movement history in Nigeria. Although we had at one point in time inaugurated two of these Commissions – the Medical and Scientific Commission and the Women Commission. NOC to Inuagurate Commssions on Wednesday

In a landmark event in the annals of the Olympic Movement history in Nigeria, the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has concluded plans to formally inaugurate it's various Commissions on Wednesday in Lagos. The composition of the commissions in line with the provisions of the International Olympic Charter and NOC Statutes. Also, these subsidiary governing bodies are not only advisory, but equally essential in the promotion of Olympic values. President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Engineer Habu Gumel stated that the formal inauguration is in line with the vision of the current board. Rohr's contract extension a reward for mediocrity, Wale Ajayi warns NFF
