Submission of 2023 Lagos Street Soccer Championship forms ends Monday

Sales and submissions of participation forms for the 2023 Lagos Street Soccer Championship will end on Monday 23 October. The organisers of the event made this known over the weekend. With over one thousand forms already sold across the 20 Local Government of Lagos state, the committee said plans are in place for the commencement of the 2023 championship. 2023 Lagos Street Soccer championship officially begins

It was a festival of football at the Obele Oniwala mini stadium as the 2023 Lagos State Street Soccer Championship officially kicked off with a series of ceremonial games featuring men, women and u-15 boys teams selected across Lagos State. In the first game, Lagos Mainland-based Wazbak defeated their opponent Middlewell from Lagos Island 2-1 in the women's game, while Dolphin High School defeated Kings College 2 nil in the u-15 match.  The event witnessed by the Honourable Commissioner of Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunleke, advised Lagos youth to step out of their comfort zones rather than wait for white-collar jobs. Mayoress throws weight behind Lagos Street Soccer Championship

Lagos Street Soccer championship gets new kick-off Date

The Chairman Lagos Street Soccer championship committee, Mr. Bolaji Yusuf, has announced a new kick-off date for the eagerly anticipated Season 8 of Lagos Street Soccer championship. According to Yusuf, October 15, 2023 is the new kick-off date which is to allow for putting finishing touches to the preparations. Sheroes Cup light up Abuja, as 12 teams confirm participation

Organisers of the Sheroes Cup have revealed that the 2023 Sheroes Cup is scheduled to kick-off October 7, 2023 in Abuja. Ajeromi-Ifelodun join bid to host Lagos Street Soccer championship

The Executive Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Hon. Fatai Adekunle Ayoola has thrown his hat into the ring with a bid for the 2023 Lagos Street Soccer championship hosting. This was revealed in his speech to the delegation of Lagos Street Soccer committee led by Mr Bolaji Yusuf during an official visit to his office. Hon.
