Volleyball: Lagos agog for 2022 Nigeria Volleyball Super Cup

The highly anticipated 2022 Nigeria Volleyball Super Cup will take place at the National Stadium, Surulere Lagos according to a member of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Honorable Famous Daunemigha. Hon. Daunemigha who double as the Chairman Media and Publicity of Nigeria Volleyball Federation revealed that 14 teams consisting of 8 men and 6 women's club sides will battle from 1st to 10th April, 2022. He said the Local Organizing Committee is working round the clock to ensure a hitch free super cup. The South-South Representative said, "Lagos state will host the Nigeria Volleyball Super Cup after years of missing volleyball actions. he Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has praised the Super Eagles after they held Black Stars of Ghana to a goalless draw, in their 2022 World Cup qualifying playoff first leg in Kumasi. The Eagles battled their host to a stalemate in front of a over 50,000 home fans inside the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday.
