World Muaythai Federation Endorse Henry George as Sport Receives Further Recognition

President of the Mixed Martial Arts Federation of Nigeria, Henry George says his recent appointment by the World Mauythai Organisation, WMO will give athletes in the country bigger opportunities and better platforms. The WMO recently appointed George as the National Representative for Nigeria to promote, organize and oversee all aspects of Muaythai events under the World Muaythai Organization rules and regulation. Speaking to media, George who is also the Head of the Dynamite Fighting Championship, DFC said the recognition will give Nigerian fighters greater opportunity to excel in the Sport. "We are grateful to God for this recognition by the World Muaythai  Organisation for giving Nigeria the opportunity to have our athletes and officials exposed to professional Muaythai events. NWFL: Aisha Falode Applauds CAF For Proposed Women’s Champions League, prescribes ingredients for success

The Chairperson of Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL, Aisha Falode has applauded the Confederation of African Football, CAF for their proposed Women’s CAF Champions League. In an exclusive interview, Aisha Falode said that the CAF Women’s Champions League is a good initiative from CAF which has long been expected. “This is a very bold move and initiative from CAF. It’s long been expected. People have advocated for it and desired it on the continent for the young women who continue to play good football all around Africa. When people say that we do not have the required number of teams to play the Women’s CAF Champions League. " I wonder where they would get that notion from. As we speak, we have over 33 countries scattered across the continent where organized women’s football league is played. Emem Eduok spur Hajduk Split to victory in Croatia

Nigerian international, Emem Eduok scored a second half goal to seal a 2-1 victory for Hajduk Split against Slaven in a Croatian top division match played at Stadion Puljud. By Bassey Ibiatisuho Eduok who was making his second start since the return of the league in May scored his 10th goal of the season in the 59th minute. The goal came after Mijo Caktas gave Hajdik Split the lead from the penalty spot in the 10th minute and a leveller by the visitors through  Vinko Medimorec in the 24th minute.
