The highly anticipated 2022 Nigeria Volleyball Super Cup will take place at the National Stadium, Surulere Lagos according to a member of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Honorable Famous Daunemigha. Hon. he Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has praised the Super Eagles after they held Black Stars of Ghana to a goalless draw, in their 2022 World Cup qualifying playoff first leg in Kumasi. The Eagles battled their host to a stalemate in front of a over 50,000 home fans inside the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday. Nine Nigeria weightlifters have qualified for the 2022 Commonwealth Games weightlifting event holding in Birmingham, England in July 2022. The nine lifters are made up of 7 women and 2 men. Their qualifications were confirmed in the March 1st, 2022 International Weightlifting Federation, IWF Ranking.
